ABOUT

Elle Liu is an award-winning illustrator based in Brooklyn. She is passionate about fiber arts, horror movies, and plein air painting. For most of her work, she uses a mixture of watercolor, gouache, color pencil, and ink.

Elle was born in Minnesota, raised in California, and lives in New York. She received her BFA from the School of Visual Arts in 2025. She works as a freelance illustrator, card designer, and muralist. In her spare time, she can be found baking something sweet or making soft toys.
